These terms cover your use of meridianastro.com and purchases from Meridian Astro, LLC, 2810 N Church St STE 88489, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States.

Product descriptions identify what is included in each kit and add-on. Please check your selection, delivery address, currency, and final total at checkout before paying. Payment is processed by Stripe.
Normal orders are paid in full at checkout. Pre-orders use a refundable reservation payment, shown before checkout and credited toward the agreed total for your kit, add-ons, and shipping. The remaining balance is due when your telescope is ready to ship from our US warehouse (United States and Canada) or China warehouse (other supported destinations). We will send a payment link; we will not automatically charge the balance. Shipment follows balance payment.
A later change to our prices or terms does not change an order you have already placed. We will not charge you an additional amount or substitute a different product without your agreement. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund any payment for the unfulfilled part.
Availability is shown for your destination before payment. North America means the United States and Canada; International means all other supported destinations. A region may accept pre-orders while another accepts normal orders. The selected region’s offer applies to your order.
When your region is on pre-order, the shop shows the applicable production or stock-arrival message before payment. Normal orders do not have a pre-order wait.
Delivery day ranges shown for shipping methods are separate from the pre-order wait and start at dispatch after production. For United States and Canada orders, production and sea freight to our US warehouse take place before dispatch and are not included in those ranges. Express shipping only speeds up delivery from the US warehouse; it does not shorten production or sea freight.
If we cannot ship within the promised shipping period, we will contact you with a revised estimate and the option to agree to the delay or cancel for a refund, as required by applicable law. If you do not agree to the delay, we will refund the unshipped order as required by law.
Orders to the United States and Canada ship from our US warehouse. Other destinations are served from China, with printed parts potentially supplied locally. Add-ons ship with the kit without an additional shipping charge. Delivery charges and any included duties and taxes are described for your destination at checkout.
To cancel before shipment, email support@meridianastro.com with your order number. We will cancel the unshipped order and refund your payment, including any shipping charges, to the original payment method.
You may cancel a reservation at any time before shipment for a full refund of the reservation payment and any remaining balance you have paid. We do not retain the reservation payment or charge a cancellation fee.
If your order has already shipped, the returns provisions below and your applicable consumer rights apply.
We offer 30-day change-of-mind returns to customers in every country we ship to. Notify us within 30 days after delivery, then send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us. You do not need to give a reason. Any longer or additional rights under applicable law remain available.
Email support@meridianastro.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to return the goods. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address. Your region’s return-postage offer is shown before payment and included in your confirmation email. If the offer is Free 30-day returns, we provide a prepaid return label or arrange collection at our expense. Otherwise, you arrange and pay the direct return postage, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You do not need our approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right. Please do not send returns to our registered business address.
Opening the box, inspecting the contents, and closing it again is fine and does not by itself reduce your refund. For a full refund, return all supplied items without damage or loss of value caused by handling beyond necessary inspection.
You may still return goods that have been assembled, used, or damaged, but where legally permitted we may deduct only the actual reduction in value caused by assembly, use, damage, or other handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Assembly alone does not automatically result in a deduction. We will explain any deduction and its basis. There is no automatic restocking fee, and this does not limit your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.
We refund the returned goods and the standard outbound delivery cost for a full-order return. For a partial return, we refund outbound delivery charges where required by law. Any extra cost of a premium delivery option need not be refunded. We issue the refund within 14 days after being notified of cancellation, but may withhold it until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier, where permitted by law.
Refunds use the original payment method, without a refund processing fee. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit. Our 30-day offer is in addition to your statutory rights, including rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Contact support@meridianastro.com if an item is faulty, damaged, missing, or does not match its description. Include your order number and a description of the issue; photographs can help us resolve it.
We will provide the repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund required by applicable consumer law and cover necessary return costs for faulty or incorrect goods. The change-of-mind return period does not limit your statutory product rights or guarantees.
Do not look at the Sun through the telescope or any optical finder. Never point either at or near the Sun. Accidental exposure can cause permanent eye injury or blindness. The C160 is intended for nighttime astronomical use only and is not rated for daylight use or solar observation. We do not supply or offer a solar filter.
Do not look through the telescope at intensely bright light sources, including lasers or powerful artificial lights, as this may cause eye damage. Follow the safety instructions supplied with any laser accessory.
Kits require assembly as described in the product information. Follow the assembly and operating instructions and use appropriate tools and precautions.
These instructions do not exclude our responsibility for a defective product or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Plans, printing files, and other free downloads are available without purchasing a kit. Where a file or resource has a licence, that licence governs your use of it; these terms do not replace or restrict permissions granted by that licence.
Other website text, images, and branding belong to Meridian Astro or their respective owners. You may use them as permitted by applicable law or with the rights holder's permission.
Do not use the website unlawfully, attempt to access another person's information, interfere with its operation, or submit fraudulent orders. We may restrict abusive use while continuing to honour existing orders and legal obligations.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but interruptions and errors can occur. If an error affects an order, we will contact you to resolve it; we will not change the agreed price without your consent.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer protections, statutory product guarantees, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We may update these terms for future website use and future orders. The effective date appears above. Orders already placed remain subject to the terms that applied when the order was placed, unless you agree otherwise.
